. Yes i agree using cpu as base for spinning fans on case is not so reliable and usually i spin my fans on other parameters like ambient or other parameters, but in most cases i run my case fans at.

However, in my mind the H700i's only weakness is it the tumor in the back they call a smart hub. Get rid of that, and the case is near perfect. Temps are solid, cable management is legendary, and the styling is unmatched while not completely sacrificing airflow (which is so nice to see) and I have a venturi fan on my 140mm RAD. It works really.

H700i Smart Device not working. Fans spin for a few seconds. The smart hub unit that controls the LEDs and has the 3 fan splitters seems to not be functioning. Whenever I start up my PC any fans I have connected will only work for 5 seconds then they cut out. I am not sure what's going on. I've tried different SATA power cables but nothing. Each fan channel of the Smart Device can support up to 10W of power. Exceeding 10W will result in a buggy or inconsistent performance, and/or total shutdown of the channel or device. For reference, our H-series cases include our Aer F fans. The 120mm version of this fan uses 2.16W per fan, and the 140mm version uses 3.84W per fan. If it's just the H700 then your motherboard is probably controlling the fans, so you'll control them with BIOS or a program from your mobo's manufacturer. You'd get that program from the support/downloads page of your motherboard. H700i would probably be being controlled through the smart device. In that case you'll need to use CAM. 3 level 2.

New build, no fans working (H700i) Apologies if this has been answered, but in searching I have yet to find it. I finished my new build in my H700i last night, everything seems to be good to go, except for that any fans plugged into the smart device do not work. I'm running an AsRock X399 Taichi Mobo with an Enermax Liqtech TR4 II 360 cooler. Initially I was planning on using my Corsair H100i as a front intake + a single 120mm Aer F case fan (total of 3 in the front), 2 Aer F 120mm case fan on the top exhaust and the last 140mm Aer F case fan as rear exhaust. Currently the H700 is ~$225 AUD, H700i is ~$260. I've bought everything except for the case and the H100i. Questions.

They we're already all plugged into the smart device when I bought it new but they aren't being detected on the CAM software and I can't figure out why they aren't spinning. The fans on my Kraken x62 work. The Smart device has the light on so I know it has power.

The lighting works but none of the fans do. The CAM Software installed thinks they should be spinning as they report the fans spinning at 50% for example, but the RPM is 0. I've tried individually plugging the fans into the chassis fan motherboard connector and they work there. Any suggestions would be great! Save Masterchiefxx17.
